The weather was very good, wasn't it. Perfect holiday temperatures.
I finished my Silver Week with a two day trip to Lake Toya: camping, kayaking...and swimming!!!!
I stayed at the north side of the lake, at Toya Town camp site, which was very peaceful. In the evening I could see the fireworks show near the Onsen hotels - but I prefer the atmosphere at the camp site - far away from the concrete and crowds.
Early morning kayaking was beautiful. I also went to the Toyako Museum of Art and had lunch at Cohum Cafe. It was relaxing to sit and read books, walk around the vegetable market in the Toya-Mizunoeki and look at the stars.
CS-san, an Imagine student, works as a Nature Guide at Lake Toya - so she came and met me. We sat and looked at stars together too. She knows the names of many stars and flowers in English.
Now - back to working schedule! I feel rested and look forward to seeing you all soon :-)
