Dialect coach Andrew Jack talks about the different accents of the British Isles and changes accent while he talks.
He starts with "Received Pronunciation" - a standard accent, then moves to a London accent, a Cockney accent (east London), then East Anglia, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire...
It's brilliant :-)
Play the link and look at the map while he is talking.
My accent is very southern England/London Received Pronunciation. Years ago Tv and radio presenters spoke like this. But now, thankfully, regional accents are common in UK broadcasting.
Enjoy your British tour!
