Friends came to help, I rented a small truck and mid-morning we were busy.
In the past few weeks I have little by little packed up Imagine classroom, mainly the parts that students don't see. The last lesson ended at 3 pm on Friday and THEN...it was time to move!
By this morning all the things - the books and files and wall decorations had already gone. Today was just furniture and cleaning.
I have so many memories in this classroom - students and their lives - the happy and the sad. I was here with a student whose hometown is Sendai, when the Tohoku earthquake happened. I was here when another student told me her husband came home with divorce papers. I was here when a student's daughter got the news of entering university in Tokyo. We celebrated Christmas here, and Halloween...and many birthdays.
He and I will be ready on April 3 to welcome you back for English classes, tea, snacks and laughs. See you soon!
