I've been twice in Odori Park, once on Tuesday as I walked to 11 chome to a tourist video narration job, and again on Saturday with my mother in law.
I think this Macao church is very beautiful (and the egg tart in the Macao cafe were delicious).
I also liked the Shakespeare theater The Globe, which is a famous landmark in London. It is unusual for the Snow Festival to have something from the UK.
The Globe is a modern recreation of the 400 year ago theater where many of Shakespeare's plays were first performed. In Odori Park, local actors will be presenting a 15 minute version of A Winter's Tale.
I have't been to the festival at night yet, and I haven't been to the Susukino site...maybe one night this week. AND...if I can I want to go to the Jozankei ice candle festival this year...
As always I say: THIS is the week in Sapporo when you have the best chance to use your English by welcoming someone to the city and helping them.
I've already helped several people in Odori Station, and even outside Tokou Store in Hiragishi - a Malaysian family were looking for a plastic model shop near KItaeru!
