So, Imagine was open for classes and NHK had classes too. But it was a half-schedule and many people were away.
So, in between classes I had empty afternoons and evenings. I had time to meet friends for lunches and dinners. As I work 3 or 4 evenings a week, having time to meet friends is special.
I enjoyed the beer festival at the International School in Sumikawa.
Then I enjoyed barbecue parties with friends...in the rain and sometimes sunshine.
I went to Tokyo to the Summer Sonic festival - in Chiba at Makuhari Messe/QVC baseball ground. I really went to see the American singer Adam Lambert and British rock band Queen - but I also enjoyed the music of Richie Sambora (he used to be in Bon Jovi) and Avril Lavigne.
And of course - Adam Lambert and Queen!
My knee isn't so strong for lots of walking and standing and dancing for hours and hours. But I paced myself and had a great time.
