Didn't realize until the past week!
My right thumb is getting better - slowly. I went to the gym today for the first time in a week and could use the handles on the machines and I can do many things which were painful last week.
But still - I cried out in pain after picking up a heavy cooking pan and I still can't switch on the car engine with my right hand.
So I really appreciate the various, small powerful actions we can do with the help of our thumbs.
* Opening screw top bottles.
* Pulling up/on clothes.
* Opening little paper and plastic packages of food e.g. sugar.
* Brushing hair...and teeth.
* Pulling off boots.
